Saint Maurice – Bussang


Departure from the top of the Ballon d’Alsace, you will survey the Vosges side of the massif with a passage to Saint Maurice sur Moselle for refreshments and an arrival in Bussang.
A shuttle bus will pick up your cars after the race and make the most of the negative gradients!
A great day of cycling on the official tracks created by the Vosges Nature et VTT association and Bussang Evénements awaits you!


7.30 am: collection of the plaques at the top of the Ballon d’Alsace:

Please respect the timetable below to avoid traffic jam:

  • Numbers from 300 to 400 : from 7:30 to 8:00 am
  • Numbers from 200 to 300: from 8:00 to 8:30 am
  • Numbers from 100 to 200 : 8:30 to 9:00 am
  • Numbers from 1 to 100 : 9:00 to 9:30 am

8:05: first start under the arch, depending on your number plate

  • Numbers from 300 to 400 : from 8:05 to 8:30 am
  • Numbers from 200 to 300: from  8:30 to 9:00 am
  • Numbers from 100 to 200 : from 9:00 to 9:20 am
  • Numbers from 1 to 100 : from 9:20 to 09:40 am

1: 30 pm : first arrival in Bussang. Give back your timing chip then you’ll get a Bike-Components package as a gift and a Dirtlej pair of socks.

3:30 pm: last arrival

2 pm and 3 pm : shuttle bus

Due to water restrictions, we are not allowed the provide a bike wash. 

4 pm: podium

RACE: 4 timed stages for adults (15 years and older): cadet, junior, senior, lady, ebike, master 40 and master 50 categories
35Km and 1300 meters of positive altitude difference

Please check your information and come with your MTB license or medical form (dated less than one year) in order to pick up  your number plate. We won’t change numbers anymore: thanks for your understanding! 


The start will take place in Ballon d’Alsace. As it’s a natural reserve please park only on the dedicated parking lot called ‘”les démineurs” next to the “maison d’accueil”. It’s not possible de park along the road anymore. Please respect it as the authorities will check up on sunday morning. 

For picking up your plate and timing chip, don’t forget to show your mtb license or a medical form (written by your doctor in your native language) that proves you are able to race a moutain event dated than less 6 months. It’s the french rules to take part of a sport event! Thanks for your understanding!
